Anacom board president says Portuguese telecom market has 'competition problems'

In an interview with Jornal Economico, the president of the board of directors of Portugal's National Communications Authority (Anacom) said that the Portuguese telecommunications market "is an oligopoly market, with three main companies". According to Joao Cadete do Matos, the market "presents competition and contestability problems, which cannot be overcome by the free operation of market forces".
