Altice Portugal promises 90% population coverage by fibre in Penafiel

Altice Portugal has announced plans for 90 percent population fibre coverage in Penafiel and the installation of two new base stations in the parishes of Rio de Moinhos and Penafiel. Separately, the Portuguese operator said it will expand its fibre network to all 27 villages in the Xisto region by 2023, in addition to installing elevent mobile stations that will boost 4G and 5G coverage.
