A 15-minute Adele song? We'd listen to that.

The singer, who recently released her long-awaited fourth studio album, 30, revealed that the track I Drink Wine was initially 15 minutes long.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Adele said, "[The label] was like, 'Listen, everyone loves you, but no one's playing a 15-minute song on radio.'"

According to AFP the 6-minute version of I Drink Wine, progresses from a 1970s-esque groove to a gospel choir-backed meditation on self-acceptance.

"So I hope I learn to get over myself/Stop trying to be somebody else/So we can love each other for free," sings Adele.

With 30, Adele zoned in on the range of emotions brought on by her divorce from husband Simon Konecki, creating one of her most personal works yet.
