Today I crossed the Puducherry-Chandigarh border. It proceeded to weaken and move west-northwest into a low-pressure system that was favourable. It is now positioned in northern tamil Nadu and bordering regions of karnataka and rayalaseema as of 11.30 a.m. today. It is expected to continue moving west-northwest and weaken over time.

The following is the forecast and alert for the next 24 hours... In most regions, there is a chance of light to moderate rain, with heavy rain in certain places. Showers are expected in rayalaseema, karnataka, northern tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, and Karaikal today and tomorrow. Showers are expected in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Enam, Telangana, Kerala, and Mahe tomorrow. The rains are just flooding all the roads and main areas in souther tamil Nadu as well.
