A new documentary by Discovery+ will explore the turbulent marriage of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. The couple who divorced in 2017 has been embroiled in a long legal battle.
The two-part documentary titled Johnny vs Amber will centre on different perspectives, with one episode focusing on Johnny and the other on Amber's side of the story.
Deadline reports that the documentary will feature interviews with lawyers on both sides, people close to the pair and archival and audio footage.
Executive producer Nick Hornby said: "Through the tapes, home videos and text messages shown in court, these films give viewers a rare and important insight into a marriage that went tragically wrong, and to better understand the hugely important issue of domestic violence."
The Aquaman actor filed for divorce in 2016 and accused the Pirates of the Caribbean star of domestic violence. Their divorce was finalised in 2017 and Heard was awarded a $7 million settlement.
Depp then sued Heard for defamation and a British tabloid newspaper that called him a "wife-beater". He lost his case against the publishers of The Sun.
