CCpur, November 18 2021: Distribution of winter vegetable seeds and horticulture inputs under trie MIDH 2021-22 cum awareness training programme on crop cutting experiment of Rabi crops under PMFBY 2020- 2i was held at the district horticulture office campus on Thursday.

The programme was attended by district agriculture officer M Ginzalian and other officials of the department.

N Madhurja Singh, district officer horticulture & soil conservation, gave an inaugural speechwhile Lhingneikim Lhungdim, AO horticulture office, delivered the welcome address.

During his speech, guest of honour Ginzalian expressed hope that farmers would make best use of the seeds distributed to them.

Later, distribution of the seeds was conducted by Nengneilhing, AO, along with Keshi Kumar Singh, AAO district horticulture office, Churachandpur.

Seeds of pea, cabbage, ladies' finger, onion, chilli, French bean and banana, apart from some bee boxes and sprayers were distributed to the farmers.

During the awareness training programme, crop cutting experiment of Rabi crops was performed by Dr Thoithoi Singh, retired programme coordinator KVK Thoubal.
