Imphal, November 18 2021: The semi-final line up of the 1st Sawombung Trophy 5-a-side Men's Open Football Tournament being organised by Sawombung Student's Club (SSC) at its playground was completed today with hosts SSC and Heingang FC sealing victories in their penultimate quarter final league matches.

SSC were in good form today and sealed a 4-1 win over Ngamba FC, Huidrom riding on a brace by Henry (7', 13').M Jimmy helped Ngamba FC pull back a goal in the 20th minute but Rohit (23') and Michael (32') took their turns to score a goal each to make it 4-1 and helped SSC set up a semi-final date with Group S winners, UKFC, Uyumpok on November 20.In the last Group S quarter final league clash, Heingang FC were 2-0 winners today against LIO FC to finish group runners up as Lenin Thongam scored the opener in the 23rd minute after a barren first half and Shitaljit hit the decisive in the 27th minute.

They will be up against Group R winners, Dress House FC in the semi-final scheduled tomorrow.
