U.S. administers 446.3 mln doses of COVID-19 vaccines - CDC
Nov 18 (Reuters) - The United States had administered 446,250,342 doses of COVID-19 vaccines in the country as of Thursday morning and distributed 561,149,025 doses, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said.
Those figures are up from the 444,789,186 vaccine doses the CDC said had gone into arms by Nov. 17 out of 558,460,315 doses delivered.
The agency said 228,570,531 people had received at least one dose, while 195,713,107 people had been fully vaccinated as of 6:00 a.m. ET on Thursday.
The CDC tally includes two-dose vaccines from Moderna and Pfizer/BioNTech,, as well as Johnson & Johnson's one-shot vaccine.
About 32.5 million people have received a booster dose of either Pfizer, Moderna or Johnson & Johnson's COVID-19 vaccine. Booster doses from Moderna and Johnson & Johnson were authorized by the U.S. health regulator on Oct. 20. (Reporting by Anirudh Saligrama in Bengaluru; editing by Uttaresh.V)
