Left shoulder blade pain appears "randomly" every few days

    Hi,

few weeks ago, while working out I felt sharp shoulder blade pain, wasn't too painful but painful enough so that I would need to stop in the middle of a workout, when ever I stretched my hand backwards for few days I felt the stress on the shoulder pain, I took a week off,

I started warming up the shoulders more seriously, no pain during or after workouts...but every few days some certain simple actions, for example raising a cup can cause a sharp pain the left shoulder blade, when I am trying to repeat the same motion the pain is gone. then I am trying different twists and motions to see if it hurts, but the pain is just gone...and same thing may happen after few days

I wonder if its because of overstress, I don't workout out till failure, but I workout in a manner that the last rep is very hard and I manage to complete it and if I will try one more I will probably fail, so I think maybe I should stop one rep before, so like one full rep will be left in the tank

    any advice here?
