Son arrested in Halfway-area woman's death

HALFWAY — Police arrested a 22-year-old man late Wednesday after his mother was found dead in the driveway of a Halfway-area house.

Jordan Lynn Wiles had been sought Wednesday afternoon in connection with the death of Susan Lynn Hartz, 45.

Wiles was "located and arrested without incident," according to Washington County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Carly Hose.

Hartz was found Wednesday morning in the 11300 block of Greenberry Road. She appeared to have visible wounds, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

The incident was reported at 8:55 a.m.

Greenberry Road is north of Virginia Avenue and east of Halfway Boulevard.
