All four teams in action Thursday saw their season come to an end. Here’s a look at how things went down around the region:
Carthage 42, Hamshire-Fannett 14
The defending Class 4A-II champ, Carthage had no trouble handling Hamshire-Fannett. It was a tough draw for the second-seed Longhorns, who struggled to move the ball constantly for one of the few times this season.
While Carthage tries for a repeat run to state, Hamshire-Fannett ends the season at 8-4 overall.
