Ensure good future for next generation: MLA Mirabai

Imphal, November 17 2021: It is the indispensable duty and responsibility of the present generation to lay the foundation for ensuring a good future for the emerging youth and children, stated Patsoi MLA Ak Mirabai and strongly called for collective participation of the people in developing a good generation.

Addressing a gathering during inauguration of newly constructed Shree Shree Madan Mohan shrine at Patsoi Part 2 on Wednesday, Ak Mirabai said that different programmes need to take up for making women self-reliant by providing them source of income generation and special policy need to be formulated for youth to develop their potentials and lead successful life.

Efforts are also needed to bring women out from dependent life and make them participate in every field including politics while a special policy is needed for unemployed youth to give them self-employment to enable them participate in development programmes, Mirabai said, adding this will help in developing the state collectively.

While mentioning about various development works taken up in Patsoi AC, MLA Mirabai said that preparations are going on for black-topping roads in the assembly segment while black-topping for Patsoi Part 2 to Karong, Tongbram Leikai and Mayaikoibi Chabungbam Leikai roads will begin soon.

The inauguration event presided over by retired government officer Ng Kulabidhu was also attended by Patsoi ZP member Langlen Leima, Sapam Leirak GP pradhan A Biswarjit, Sagolband Thounaojam Leikai GP pradhan N Ratan, Langjing GP pradhan M Romen, Patsoi GP pradhan K Priya, Patsoi GP up-pradhan Ng Memi and ward member Ksh Bhanupati.
