Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks down as market falls

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading lower on Thursday at 11:00AM

Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 1.89%) and Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 0.26%) were among the top gainers.

Sikko Industries(down 4.99%), Bohra Industries(down 4.76%), Aries Agro(down 2.94%), Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals(down 2.66%), G S F C(down 2.65%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(down 2.56%), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 2.31%), Agro Phos(down 2.02%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 1.83%) and National Fertilizer(down 1.61%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 134.55 points down at 17764.1, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 387.13 points at 59621.2 at around 11:00AM.

Power Grid Corporation of India(up 0.68%), HDFC Bank(up 0.47%), Asian Paints(up 0.43%), SBI Life(up 0.3%) and Reliance Industries(up 0.13%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Tata Motors(down 4.37%), HCL Technologies(down 2.81%), Eicher Motors(down 2.24%), Larsen & Toubro(down 2.11%), Hero MotoCorp(down 2.1%), Tech Mahindra(down 2.08%), Mahindra & Mahindra(down 2.04%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(down 1.98%), IndusInd Bank(down 1.64%) and Bajaj Finserv(down 1.64%) were trading in the red.
