Shutterstock.comNEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 69.88 points down at 59938.45 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Conart Engg(down 10.01 per cent), Mayukh Dealtrade(down 10.00 per cent), Milestone Furniture(down 9.83 per cent), One97 Communications Ltd.(down 9.07 per cent) and Bigbloc Const(down 8.23 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 17 stocks traded in the green, while 33 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 33.0 points down at 17865.65.
On the BSE, One97 Communications Ltd., Sun Retail, Atreya Petro, ERP Soft Sys and Narayani Steels hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Sapphire Foods India Ltd., Shine Fashions, Precision Camshaft, Vishal Bearings Ltd. and Indian Terrain touched their fresh 52-week highs.
