Dynabook ANZ today announced the addition of two new Satellite Pro laptops, the C40-J and C50-J, with Windows 11, the 11th gen Intel Core processor, and fast solid-state drives.

Dynabook has a strong heritage of quality laptops for business, education, and home use, and the Satellite Pro line has been a mainstay for decades. Dynabook ANZ was formerly Toshiba Client Solutions ANZ. The Toshiba Satellite Pro is a name that may bring back affectionate memories for many readers, and the Dynabook range is its current evolution. Further, Dynabook ANZ is an independent operating company owned wholly by Dynabook of Japan, which itself is a wholly-owned company of Sharp Corporation. So, you can adopt Dynabook technology with confidence as to its heritage and robustness.

“Our goal is to use the latest and most appropriate technology to empower our wide spectrum of customers in their daily work – from students to professionals,” said Angela Walker, general manager, Dynabook ANZ. “The new Satellite Pro C40-J and Satellite Pro C50-J models deliver a solid toolkit for everyday computing, in a compact and attractive form factor.”

Dynabook carefully engineered the two new Satellite Pro models to balance performance and functionality with design and mobility. They come in a stylish, dark blue sleek exterior and present a modern aesthetic that will appeal to students and professionals alike.

They also include an EPA-approved antimicrobial paint additive known as IONPURE IPL1 and this helps inhibit the growth of bacteria.

The 14" Satellite Pro C40-J is 19.8mm and 1.55kg, with 9.8 hours battery life. The 15.6" Satellite Pro C50-J is 19.7mm and 1.8kg, with 7.6 hours battery life.

Both have a rich range of connectivity options, with Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth. The multi-functional USB-C port allows charge, display, connectivity, and data transfer, along with two USB-A ports, a MicroSD slot, a mic/headphone socket, and a full-size HDMI port. Further, they include a high-definition webcam, stereo speakers, and an in-built Cortana-enabled microphone.

The laptops also feature firmware-based Trusted Platform Module (fTPM) 2.0 to encrypt data on the device to reduce the risk of data tampering and inhibit unauthorised access. This feature, along with usual password hygiene, is supplemented with an optional fingerprint scanner, ensuring the device is your first line of defence against cybercriminals. You also have a Kensington lock slot to work against physical criminals too.

The Satellite Pro C40-J and Satellite Pro C50-J will be available from Dynabook’s network of resellers with prices starting at $928 ex-GST and $NZ 974 ex-GST, with multiple configurations options.
