The video montage shows Pages approach a 23ft (7m) launch ramp on a motorcycle at 80 km/h (50 mph) and then drive off over the cliff.

He does a double front flip more than 55m from the sheer cliff freefalling at 150km/h before deploying a specially designed Red Bull parachute for himself and a second orange chute for the motorbike.

He then glides over the stunning gorge and a French ski resort before landing 30 seconds later and 170m below.

It then cuts to a view of Pages's helmet as he launches himself over the cliff, as well as a view from the top of his helmet.

The multiple Red Bull X-Fighters champion said: 'What's going to get me stoked after that?

'I don't know. I'm going to have to find something even more stupid to have fun.'

Pages spent a number of years preparing for the audacious stunt and the project was put on standby due to Covid-19.

'I enjoy parachuting in my spare time when I’m not riding,' he told TMZ.

'I took it step by step. I started training in a wind tunnel, then skydiving in 2015 with the Soul Flyers – Vince Reffet and Fred Fugen.

'Next came my initiation to BASE jumping from a helicopter, then from a bridge on Reunion Island with Loïc Jean Albert (air sports pioneer).

'Afterwards, I learned to jump from a cliff with Aurélien Chatard aka Bras Noir (Black Arm).'

Ultimately, with the support of his sponsors, Pages realised his dream in October.
