Hemant holds video conferencing meeting with Deputy Commissioners, instructs to ensure reach of schemes to remote villages

Ranchi, Nov 18 (UNI) Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Thursday held a high level review meeting
with all the DCs of the state via video conferencing during which he instructed them to make sure
that benefits public welfare schemes of the government reach the needy at any cost.
Addressing the meeting he said that "Aapke Adhikar-Aapke Sarkar Aapke Dwar" campaign has
been started in the entire state for on-the-spot disposal of various applications including ration cards, Kisan Credit cards, various pension schemes, job cards.
He said that this campaign has been launched from Ulihatu on the occasion of 'Dharti Aaba' Bhagwan Birsa Munda Jayanti and Jharkhand State Foundation Day celebrations on November 15 2021. This campaign will run for 45 days. The campaign will culminate on December 29, the second anniversary of the state government.
Chief Minister said that the main objective of launching the campaign 'Aapke Adhikar-Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar' is to reach people living in remote rural areas for their rights.
The poor and needy people do not have to wander for their rights, the officials should ensure that
officers should visit the village-panchayats continuously and take the benefits of the schemes to the people, he said.
He directed all the Deputy Commissioners that the government has to reach all the panchayats of
the state in this 45-day long campaign.
The Chief Minister said there are many districts in the state where there are more gram panchayats and there are many such districts where there are less gram panchayats, but there is nothing to worry about as the government has to reach every panchayat at any cost.
The Chief Minister directed that all the Deputy Commissioners would daily review the camps being organized in the Gram Panchayats in their district under the 'Aapke Adhikar-Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar' campaign.
The departmental secretaries and deputy commissioners will review at their level to ensure that apart from the benefits received under this campaign, the benefits of other schemes of the state government can also be made available to the general public in the panchayat level camps.
