Hannah Brown Reveals She Wanted To Be With Tyler Cameron After Splitting From Jed Wyatt: 'He Rejected Me'
Hannah Brown is reflecting on her could’ve been relationship with Tyler Cameron, who came in as the runner up during her season of The Bachelorette.
The 27-year-old reality star and new author opened up about what might have been and what happened between the two that put a stop on a relationship of any kind.

While promoting her new book with People, Hannah revealed that she actually would have liked to start a relationship with Tyler following her split with Jed Wyatt.
“I was really hoping that we would start dating again,” she said. “I thought I’d made a mistake. I had feelings for Tyler. And I wanted to make things work.”
However, it was not meant to be.
Hannah revealed that after she asked him out, they had spent time together at her home in LA.
“We had really intimate conversations about planning trips and things,” she recalled. “I wanted it to work and to know that everything had happened for a reason. But maybe there was some miscommunication of what that meant.”
Just two days after that though, Tyler was pictured with Gigi Hadid.
“I was really caught off-guard. I knew we were not together or openly dating, but just from the conversations we’d had, it was so shocking — and so public,” she said. “I felt like I had to be strong and pretend it didn’t bother me when it did. I was already on the ground [following her breakup with Wyatt] and this was another kick. I was deeply hurt. I said to Tyler, ‘I’d date Gigi Hadid too if I could, I get it.’ But it was not the way I wish it was handled.”
Hannah admits she was “upset with him” following that.
She also opened up about their time in quarantine together, where both had family members suffering from ailments – her brother overdosed, and his mother suddenly passed away. But it was anything but romantic.
“There was nothing romantic about that time,” she says. “We didn’t even kiss! And it was really confusing because I told him I still had feelings for him and he rejected me.”
Hannah and Tyler haven’t spoken since.
“I was embarrassed about it for a while, but I learned so much,” she adds. “It wouldn’t have worked with Tyler. Yes, there was chemistry and we had fun together, but I don’t know if I had what he wants in a person or if he had what I wanted…things might not turn out the way you expected, but I try to learn from every moment.”
“I don’t wish ill on anybody. I’ve been through growing pains. But I’m happy. And I’m in a really good place.”
Elsewhere in the memoir, Hannah revealed a lot about her connection with Peter Weber.
