ReutersNEW DELHI: One97 Communications Ltd.(Rs. 4086.99 crore), Escorts(Rs. 3325.67 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 2420.39 crore), Vedanta (Rs. 2204.58 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 1968.76 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 1573.64 crore), Apollo Hospital(Rs. 1223.11 crore), Tata Steel(Rs. 1211.00 crore), SBI(Rs. 1125.17 crore) and Sapphire Foods India Ltd.(Rs. 1094.29 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Thursday's session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 133.85 points down at 17764.8, while BSE Sensex fell 372.32 points to 59636.01.
In the Nifty index, State Bank of India(up 1.13 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 0.76 per cent), Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.(up 0.70 per cent), HDFC Bank Ltd.(up 0.56 per cent) and Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 0.46 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Tata Motors Ltd.(down 3.86 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 3.22 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 3.13 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(down 2.86 per cent) and HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 2.80 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
