Combing ops underway along LoC in Uri

Srinagar, Nov 17 (UNI) A massive combing is underway along the Line of Control in north Kashmir’s Uri sector after an infiltration attempt was foiled by the Army, sources said.

The infiltration bid was foiled in Dhulanja area in Rewand Nalla of Uri during the intervening night when soldiers noticed some suspicious movement.

“There was a lull after a brief exchange of fire during the night. Combining is underway in the forest area,” the sources said.
The Army has not said anything about the ongoing counter infiltration operation.
