The Texas Department of Transportation has sent out lane closure notices for Interstate 10 today and tomorrow.
The outside lane of I-10 westbound just west of Smith Road will be closed for several hours due to emergency repairs, a TxDOT traffic alert said.
“Expect delays,” the alert said.
I-10 westbound at Brooks Road also will be closed overnight from 10:30 p.m. to 5 a.m., due to bridge work, another TxDOT alert said.
“Traffic will be diverted to the Brooks (Road) jug handles and back around to (Interstate) 10,” the alert said. “Expect delays.”
