Christina Ricci reveals she married husband Mark Hampton at a storefront chapel: 'This was not a fancy wedding'
Christina Ricci revealed just how scaled back her surprise wedding to husband Mark Hampton was earlier this year.
During an appearance on The Talk, the actress, 41, revealed they tied the knot at a storefront chapel in Van Nuys, California.
'We did sort of a brief wedding,' Christina explained. 'We went to like a storefront chapel thing in Van Nuys and just got married quickly because I'm nine months pregnant so we wanted to get it out of the way and then we will have more of like an event wedding. This was not a fancy wedding.'

Christina announced her marriage last month, posting a photo of her and her new husband posing before an elaborate display of baby pink roses.
'Mr. and Mrs.,' Christina captioned the post, along with a chapel, flame, and hearts emojis.

The big news came just two months after the couple announced they were expecting their first child together. Christina is already a mom to seven-year-old son Freddie Heerdegen, whom she shares with her ex-husband James Heergeden.
'He's super excited. He's wanted to be a brother for a very long time. He promises to help,' Christina said of her son.

'We tell him that though, he has trouble sleeping through the night, and he refuses sometimes to go back to bed, so I told him that if he does wake up in the middle of the night after the baby's here, his punishment will be changing diapers.'
Christina and Mark announced in August that they were expecting their first child with a sonogram picture posted to her Instagram account, along with the caption, 'Life keeps getting better.'
The announcement also served as the first time they had gone public with their romance.
The couple appear to have got close this past year, working on a number of fashion shoots together. Often, Christina has left a series of heart emojis under pictures of herself that Hampton has posted.

In July, she shared a sweet birthday tribute about her man, which described him as her 'favorite person, gorgeous human, bringer of all things happy, magical and good.'

Mark is an industry professional who has worked with A-List talent and big name brands like Banana Republic and Hugo Boss.
His impressive work includes editorials for Vogue, Dazed and Confused, Elle and Q Magazine, and has worked on fashion shows for Miu Miu, Marc Jacobs, Prada, Louis Vuitton, and Calvin Klein.
Speaking of her husband's occupation, she told The Talk: 'It is very convenient. I never will have to go anywhere for a haircut again.'
