Ranchi: Hemant Soren government is set to start Apke adhikar, apki sarkar, apke dwar (government at your doorsteps) across all the 24 districts as part of the incumbent coalition regime’s mega public connect drive in the run up to the completion of two years in office on December 29.
Announcing its formal launch from Tuesday at a programme on Monday, Soren appealed to officials as well as common people to make it a grand success.
“It is a historic programme designed to make everyone part of the development process. Rather than people coming to the government, the government will now go to the public to find out their grievances and resolve them. I appeal to every official to sincerely dedicate time to serve people at the grassroots through this,” he said.
The government has directed all the districts to hold four to five camps at panchayat levels per day till December 28. In Ranchi, deputy commissioner has directed all the block development officers (BDOs) and others concerned to try to hold 7-8 camps and listed out host of to-do things. Deputy commissioner Chhavi Ranjan said that all the ground works for the formal roll out from Tuesday has been done.
“At sarkar aapke dwar programme, focus will be on including genuine beneficiaries in ration, pension and other welfare schemes who are still left out. This apart, issues related to proper execution of schemes will be weeded out, awareness sessions on various government facilities for people will be created among the masses. We will also enrol people in different job schemes,” he said.
