Spain accepts COVAXIN for entry

On 9th November, The Tourism Office of Embassy of Spain in India (Mumbai) successfully conducted a travel trade webinar attended by 2000+ participants on ¨Conversations on Spain (Schengen) Visa¨. The team of esteemed panelists included His Excellency Mr. José María Ridao-Ambassador of Spain to India, Mr. Fernando Heredia Noguer-Consul General of Spain in Mumbai, Ms. Helena Escorial Lopez-Head of the Consular Section at the Embassy of Spain in India, Ms. Ambica Shrestha-Honorary Consul of Spain in Nepal, Ms. Priya Jayawardena-Honorary Consul of Spain in Sri Lanka, Ms. Elisa Robles Fraga-Director of Turespaña in India moderated by Mr. Sanjeet-Founder & Managing Director of DDP Group.

During the webinar, the following key announcements were made:

90.5% of the Spanish population has been fully vaccinated which makes SPAIN – A SAFE DESTINATION for Tourism
COVAXIN approved by WHO has been now accepted for entry to Spain
Faster visa processing with reduced timelines.
