    Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

    Synopsis

    In the Nifty 50 index, 14 stocks ended in the green, while 36 stocks closed in the red in today's trade.

    NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Tuesday.

    These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, JBM Auto(14.47%), Terai Tea Co(13.14%), AA Plus Tradelink Ltd.(12.05%), Parnax Lab(11.81%), PB Fintech Ltd.(11.59%), CMI Ltd(11.07%), Atam Valves(10.99%), Greaves Cotton(10.69%), Macrotech Developers Ltd.(10.3%) and Texel Ind(10.0%).

    The 30-share Sensex ended 396.34 points down at 60322.37, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 110.25 points down at 17999.2.

    In the Nifty 50 index, 14 stocks ended in the green, while 36 stocks closed in the red.

    Meanwhile, stocks such as Tamboli Capital, Bigbloc Const, Manomay Tex India, Punjab Alkalies and TV Today Network hit their fresh 52-week high, while Alfa Transform, Naapbooks Ltd., Innovative Ideals, Walchandngr Ind and Prism Finance touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
