    Havells India shares gain 0.44% as Sensex falls

    India 10-year bond yield declined 0.40 per cent to 5.98 after trading in 5.98 -6.04 range.
    Shares of Ltd. traded 0.44 per cent up at Rs 1395.15 at 01:56PM (IST) on Tuesday, even as BSE benchmark Sensex dropped 70.7 points to 60648.01. The stock had closed at Rs 1389.1 in the previous session.

    The stock quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low of Rs 1503.7 and Rs 796.6, respectively.

    As per BSE data, total traded volume on the counter till 01:56PM (IST) stood at 01:56PM shares with turnover at Rs 2.0 crore.

    At the current price, shares of the company trades at 73.3 times its trailing 12-month earnings per share of Rs 19.03 per share and 12.7 times its price-to-book value, the exchange data showed.

    A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher share price today because of growth expectations in the future. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.

    The Beta value of the stock, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 1.14.

    Shareholding Details
    Promoters held 59.47 per cent stake in the company as of 30-Sep-2021, while FIIs owned 26.76 per cent and DIIs 6.12 per cent.
