Katie Holmes is getting back to work as an actress, director, writer and producer on her new project Rare Objects.
The 42-year-old multi-hyphenate was seen running through the New York City set holding hands with co-star Julia Mayorga on Monday.
The co-stars were all smiles between takes as filming continues on this adaptation of Kathleen Tessaro's 2016 novel of the same name.

The story follows Mayorga's character, who's seemingly named Betina in the film but was named Maeve in the novel.
As she tries to escape her traumatic past, she starts working at an antique shop, where she runs into an old friend from her past, presumably Holmes' character.
As she gets drawn further into her old friend's world, she also gets guidance from the souls who inhabit the antique shop as well.
