Goa reports 25 new Covid cases, 1 death

PANAJI: Goa reported 25 Covid-19 cases, 15 recoveries and one death over the last 24 hours. The active caseload touched 250 and mortality count has reached 3,376.
A 74 -year-old man from Borim, Ponda with comorbidities died at GMC, Bambolim.
The daily case positivity rate was a little over 1 % while the recovery rate was 97.97%. The recovery rate has been over 97% since last month while the infection rate hovered around 1%.
Only four centres – Margao, Chinchinim, Dharbandaro and Ponda - in the south had cases in double digits, while the caseload of all other centres was below ten. In the north Mapusa, Panaji and Porvorim had cases close to 20 each.
