This Thanksgiving, your pie doesn't have to be pumpkin. Hershey released on Monday a Reese's Thanksgiving Pie, the largest Reese's Peanut Butter Cup ever made.

It's 9 inches long and 3.25 pounds of solid peanut butter and chocolate.

"When you bring together friends and family for Thanksgiving dinner, no table spread is complete without dessert," said Bo Jones, senior associate brand manager at Reese's in a Hershey press release. "At Reese's, we wanted to create a dessert that everyone wants a piece of."

There were only a limited number of pies released,3,000 total, and each pie is $44.99 plus tax. But bad news for anyone who craved this for Thanksgiving dessert. In just a few hours, all the available pies sold out, according to a Facebook post on Reese's page.

The Hershey Company has more than 90 brands around the world and generates more than $8.1 billion in annual revenues, including such iconic snacks like as Reese's, Kit Kat, Jolly Rancher, Ice Breakers, SkinnyPop and Pirate's Booty.

Over the years, Hershey has innovated its product lines and generated strange offshoots of their core existing products.

In December of last year, Hershey launched Reese’s Snack Cakes, billed as a midmorning snack (akin to a coffee cake). In 2019, Hershey collaborated the Yuengling to concoct a new chocolate porter, which was made available in bars and restaurants across 22 states.
