Euro India Fresh Foods(up 3.70%), Godrej Consumer Products(up 1.70%), Emami(up 1.61%), JHS Svendgaard Laboratories(up 1.49%), Nakoda Group(up 1.12%), Dangee Dums(up 0.83%), Dabur India(up 0.79%), Prataap Snacks(up 0.51%), Umang Dairies(up 0.39%) and TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 0.33%) were among the top gainers.
DFM Foods(down 3.84%), Parag Milk(down 2.55%), Varun Beverages(down 1.50%), Hatsun Agro Product Ltd(down 1.37%), Vadilal Industries(down 1.13%), Tasty Bite Eatables(down 0.98%), Gillette India(down 0.80%), Mrs Bectors Food Specialities(down 0.72%), Bajaj Consumer(down 0.62%) and Colgate Palmolive(India)(down 0.57%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 83.4 points down at 18026.05, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 308.31 points at 60410.4 at around 11:21AM.
Maruti Suzuki(up 2.78%), Tata Motors(up 1.98%), Hero MotoCorp(up 1.28%), Bajaj Finserv(up 0.91%), Bajaj Finance(up 0.9%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 0.77%), Infosys(up 0.76%), Wipro(up 0.53%), UPL Ltd(up 0.35%) and TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 0.33%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Reliance Industries(down 1.92%), State Bank of India(down 1.48%), Asian Paints(down 1.42%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 1.34%), HDFC(down 1.25%), NTPC(down 1.2%), Indian Oil Corporation(down 1.13%), Shree Cement(down 1.09%), ICICI Bank(down 1.03%) and Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 1.0%) were trading in the red.
