First Ever Ningol Chakouba by Manipur Welfare Society of Arunachal Pradesh (MWSAP)

The function was chair by the Er. Ng. Manglemjao, President of MSWAP, Mr. Teli Kahi, Special Guest and Mr. L. Robindro Singh, Advisor, MWSAP.

Welcome address by Mr. N. Sudhir Luwang, Working President.

At the very outset, Mr. L. Robindro Singh, Advisor, MWSAP express the beauty of the Ningol Chakouba and give a brief history of the Ningol Chakouba. He also state that the Ningol Chakouba is a traditional festive which celebrated to show the bonding between the married sister and her brothers. He also greet all the family coming for the function.

Mr. M. Sanju Meetei, Finance Secretary also brief the history of Piba Chakouba stated that Piba Chakouba was stated from 33 BC. Then, he also express that the Piba Chakouba was stop and Ningol Chalouba was started from 18 Century. He also thank all the family members to come for function and make a grand success.

Er. Ng. Manglemjao, President of MSWAP express his happiness for organizing such program and getting active support from the members of society. He also give the meaning of Ningol and need of Ningol in the home and society. He also express without the Ningol a family is incomplete.

Later the entertainment was conducted for the female and children with Manipuri Songs and Dance form the participants. Afterward lunch program for all the participant and gift for each and every female and children participant form the society.

The program was conclude with the vote of thanks for Mr. M. Shamjit Singh, Vice-President, MWSAP.
