Nagaland records 5 new COVID positive cases

Kohima, Nov 14 (UNI) In the latest COVID-19 situation in Nagaland, the number has decreased to a single number to five new cases yesterday, which increased the total number of corona virus-infected cases to 31,978 so far and with no report of death in the pandemic, the death toll remained at 692.

According to a Nagaland Health Department bulletin today, among the five fresh COVID cases yesterday, the new cases were detected from two districts of Nagaland, with three cases in Dimapur district and two cases in Kohima district, taking the caseload to 31,978.

On the recovery of COVID-19 infected patients in the State nine patients recovered yesterday, taking the total number of recoveries to 30,073 with a recovery rate of 94.04 per cent. Nagaland currently has now 163 active cases of COVID-19. With no more report of death of COVID patient, the death tally remained at 692 during the day, the bulletin said.
