State Level Sepak Takraw Championship : Hosts IMSUC claim sub-junior girls' regu title

Imphal, November 13 2021: Hosts IMSUC secured the title (regu) of the 22nd Sub-Junior Girls' State Level Sepak Takraw Championship being organised under the aegis of the All Manipur Sepak Takraw Association at IMSUC ground, Heingang.

IMSUC girls defeated PUC-A, Kairang 21-5, 17-21, 21-10 in the ultimate clash to emerge champions.

The day also saw SAIRC-A lifting the junior boys' regu title beating SAIRC-C 22-20, 21-13 in the final.

Earlier in the semis, SAIRC-C edged pastSAIRC-B21, 17,21-19 and SAIRC-A beat PUC-A 21-13,21-18.In the clash for third place title of the same category, SAIRC-B beat PUC-A 22-20, 21-13 .

35th Senior Women's Championship
In the senior women's semi-final clashes staged today, MPSC-B beat PUC-A 21-10, 21-19 to secure the final berth while SAIRC-A beat SAIRC-B 21-18, 21-17 to set up final date with MPSC-B .

In the match for third place title, PUC-A beat SAIRC-B 21-19,21-9 .

Senior Men's
YAWA-B, Singjamei will be up against IMSUC-A, Heingang in the final of the 35th Senior Men's Regu event.

IMSUC-A downed SWC, Hiyanglam 21-17, 21-15 today in the first semi-final match before YAWA-B edged past YAWA-A 21-17, 18-21, 21-17 in an all-Singjamei clash to complete the final line up.

The third place title of the same category was claimed by YAWA-A as they beat SWC, Hiyanglam 13-21, 21-17, 21-11 in a competitive clash.
