One man killed, another taken to the hospital after shooting on Galleria Drive in Fayetteville

One man was killed and another taken to the hospital after a shooting Saturday evening on Galleria Drive, officials said.

Police officers were called to the 3300 block of the street just before 6:15 p.m. after a shooting was reported, according to a statement released by the Fayetteville Police Department.

Ezekiel Shyreique Moultrie, 20, of the 200 block of Cairo Court, was shot outside an apartment and was pronounced dead on the scene, the statement said.

The other man, who has not been identified, was taken to a hospital and was in stable condition, it said.

The department’s Homicide Unit is investigating the shooting, according to the statement.
