Shirley Ballas, 61, strips to nothing but a tiny towel after talcum powder explodes over her... in hilarious blunder mimicking Ross from Friends
Shirley Ballas suffered a blunder that mimicked Ross Geller from Friends' famous fashion fail on Saturday, after a bottle of talcum powder exploded all over her.
The head judge, 61, stripped down to nothing but a white towel as she explained her predicament to her Instagram followers.
Showing off her sense of humour, she uploaded the hilarious snap alongside Alexander Jean's Another One Bites The Dust.

Hilarious: Shirley Ballas suffered a blunder that Ross Geller from Friends is all-too-familiar with, after a bottle of talcum powder exploded all over her following Strictly filming on Saturday
The incident happened after filming Strictly Come Dancing, so Shirley looked otherwise sensational with her chocolate locks styled into a gorgeous up-do and donning a pair of nude heels.
She wrote in her caption: 'Made a mess with the talcum powder. Love the smell. The top came off. Lol. Oh dear.'
The incident drew parallels with the 1999 episode of Friends, The One With All The Resolutions, when Ross (played by David Schwimmer) came up against a similar mishap after trying to slip into a pair of tight leather trousers during a date.

Slapstick: In an episode of the NBC sitcom, Ross (played by David Schwimmer) came up against a similar mishap after trying to slip into a pair of tight leather trousers during a date
He pleaded with his friend Joey (played by Matt LeBlanc) over the phone: 'I need some help. I got really hot in my leather pants so I took them off.
Ross continued: 'They must have shrunk from the sweat or my legs expanded from the heat I can't get them back on, I can't.'
In true slapstick style, Joey advised his pal to rub some nearby powder into the affected area in order to 'absorb the moisture'.
Moving onto Vaseline and lotion, he caused audiences to roar with laughter while making a terrible mess of his outfit.

'I believe the nurse could sense my anxiety and immediately put me at ease with her beautiful bedside manner.
'As embarrassing as it is for me to be examined the Doctors and Nurses only have our best interests at heart.
'Can I say social media can be a negative place but in this case I have only felt warmth and concern. The 1000s of messages I have received has been beautiful, thank you for sharing your own journeys with health.'

Strong: In her caption, she wrote: 'Follow up as promised. Today after not much sleep (my insomnia) and I took a trip to Kings College Hospital ultra sound department'
She went on to use her platform in order to encourage others to check themselves for lumps or abnormalities on a regular basis.
'Ladies keep checking your bodies no one knows your body better than you.
'I will also be taking a trip back to see Dr Norman Waterhouse who took out my implants for an extra breast check. Check once check twice and keep checking. To you all thank you for caring. # NHS.'

Thankful: Last month, Shirley expressed her gratitude to Strictly fans who reached out with their concerns after they spotted a lump under her arm when she was judging
