Six-year-old walking back home from society park goes missing

Greater Noida: A six-year-old girl who was last seen walking towards a lane leading to her home from a park in her housing society in Phase 2 area has been missing since Thursday afternoon.
The little girl, a primary school student, was playing in the park of Shramik Kunj society around 2pm. Her elder sister saw her last — she was walking towards her home through one of the lanes. “The children were playing in the park of Shramik Kunj society when the girl left for home. She was last seen walking through one of the lanes,” said Praveen Singh, the investigating officer.
Police have released photographs of the girl and are scanning CCTV footage for any leads. The girl’s father, a shop owner in the locality, said they feared their daughter might have been kidnapped. The girl was wearing a red shirt and yellow trousers with a pair of slippers, he added.
The police have issued three numbers for any information on the girl — 8595902674, 8595902538 and 8595902621. An FIR has also been lodged against unknown persons under IPC Section 363 (kidnapping).
