    High bar squatted...

    Neck twitching uncontrollably, what do?

For reference I don’t high bar squat, so this was basically new. I did make sure the bar rested on the crease of my traps and not my neck. This is popping up like 5 hours later, no pain, just tons of butterflies on the side of my neck on the right a bit above my upper traps.

If it felt fine while you were lifting and if you're not having any numbness/tingling/weakness/pain, and it is really just twitching, then I wouldn't worry about it. I think after a few more sessions your body will get used to it.
