In Uganda, MoS Muraleedharan calls on President Museveni, holds talks with counterpart

Kampala/New Delhi, Nov 12 (UNI) Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan, who is on a three-day visit to Uganda, called on President Yoweri Museveni and also held discussions with his Ugandan counterpart on taking forward the bilateral relationship.
The MoS said in a tweet that President Museveni praised the Indian community in Uganda for their significant contributions.
“Delighted to have called-on Hon'ble President of Uganda @KagutaMuseveni.
“Conveyed greetings of PM Shri @narendramodi ji.
"The President praised the Indian community in Uganda for their significant contributions.”
In another tweet, he spoke about the discussions he held with Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Henry Okello Oryem, and with Finance Minister Henry Musaafi, during which they discussed the entire gamut of bilateral ties and agreed to work together in diversified areas.
“Had fruitful and engaging discussion with H.E. Henry Okello Oryem, MoS Foreign Affairs of Uganda. Glad MoS Finance H.E. Henry Musaafi also joined.
“Reviewed entire gamut of bilateral relationship.
“Agreed to work together in diversified areas & take the relationship further ahead.”
He is to also call on the Speaker of the Ugandan parliament.
