Islamabad, Nov 12 (UNI/Xinhua) Even in a small country like Pakistan with population of just twenty crore , Corona goes unabated with 391 new Covid-19 cases and nine more deaths reported in the past 24 hours, the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) said on Friday.
The country has conducted 21,318,930 tests so far confirming overall 1,279,142 cases, including 1,227,228 recovered cases, NCOC said.
There are 23,330 active cases in the country which are under treatment, including 1,158 of them in critical condition.
The pandemic killed nine people on Thursday, increasing the overall death toll to 28,584.
Pakistan's southern Sindh province is the most affected region of the country in terms of the number of cases with 473,052 infections, followed by the eastern Punjab province which has reported 441,631 infections.
