Imphal, November 11 2021: BJP ST Morcha, State unit has extended gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Cabinet Ministers for declaring November 15 as Tribal Freedom Fighters Day.

Speaking to media persons at BJP State unit office today, ST Morcha president Langjaigai Kamei said that the day will be observed as Janjatiya Gaurav Divas in honour of all the tribal freedom fighters.

He stated that several events will be held at six hill districts - Tamenglong , Ukhrul, Senapati, Chandel, Sadar Hills and Chura-chandpur in commemoration of the day.

"As a token of gratitude to the Prime Minister, the tribal people would support whoever are given BJP tickets by the party parliamentary board for the 12th State Assembly election to form a stable Government," he added.
