Imphal, November 11 2021: The primary and active members of Lok Janshakti Party (LJP), 38-Hiyanglam Kendra Committee have resigned from the party with immediate effect.

The decision for mass resignation has been taken in view of the chaotic situation prevalent in Lok Janshakti Party after the demise of its founder Ram Vilas Paswan in October 2020, said a press release issued by the committee.

The press release further informed that Nongmaithem Sanjay Singh who was preparing to contest the upcoming State Legislative Assembly election from Hiyanglam AC on LJP ticket, party members and well wishers will join a prominent political party of the State soon in the interest of the residents of Hiyanglam AC and the State as a whole.
