About 50 people became trapped in an RV park in Oregon after the area was hit by heavy rainfall.  

The US Coast Guard has pulled out at least a dozen of the estimated 50 campers from Neskowin Creek RV Resort of Highway 101 on Friday after severe flooding hit the park. The highway shutdown due to flooding. 

The Neskowin area, roughly 70 miles from Portland, received three to seven inches of rain and is in danger of a mudslide, according to weather.com. 

'There's an RV park with the threat of a mudslide in the area,' Petty Officer Michael Clark of the Coast Guard's 13th District in Seattle told weather.com. 

The area is expected to get another one to three inches and surrounding areas have already experienced mudslides and flooding. 

An estimated 50 people got stuck at an RV camp in Oregon after the area experienced heavy rainfall. The US Coast Guard deployed two helicopters and one swimmer to evacuate campers and so far have rescued 12 people and one dog

Nearby the RV resort, a firetruck was deployed in dangerously high waters to rescue while authorities warn about severe weather 

Russ Hiner of Sequim, Washington, posted photos of the RV park at 6.15am this morning and said he found 'six or seven' inches of standing water under his two RVs. 

'Woke up (6:15am) to someone driving around the park honking their horn. Looking out the fogged up windows and see someone with a flashlight running around. They come and bang on the door, “the park is FLOODING everyone out."' Hiner wrote on Facebook. 

Hiner later reported he was able to get his two RVs out of the park by 7.30am, but not everyone was as lucky.

Standing water was already up to the tops of tires in some parts of the park in the early morning 

Around 12.30pm, another camper Hugh Jhanis uploaded a video of what appears to be the creek with dangerously high water rushing through as four men stand on a sliver of dry land. 

The US Coast Guard sent out two helicopters and a swimmer around 1pm to help evacuate campers, arriving on the scene just before 1.30pm. 

'A Coast Guard rescue swimmer is on scene coordinating evacuation at RV park in Neskowin, OR. Two helicopters are on scene. Evacuation efforts are ongoing at this time,' the Coast Guard tweeted around 1pm. 

The team reported around 3pm that 12 people and a dog had been evacuated from the scene. 

The evacuation is ongoing as of 4pm. 

Nearby, a rockslide occurred westbound on Highway 138 between Elkton and Sutherlin early this morning. 

A landslide also happened nearby, causing Highway 18 to shut down. It is unknown if the road is reopened 

Several roads across the area experienced flooding and high water. The area is expected to get an additional one to three inches 

The Oregon Department of Transportation reported an estimated 7,000 cubic yards of rock and debris slid into the roadway and will need to be cleared before the highway can be opened. 

The rockslide happened around 6am and it unknown if the highway has reopened. 

A landslide also occurred near Highway 18 in Lincoln County, Oregon.  

Lincoln County Sheriff's Department did not give a reason for the landslide but told locals to watch 'small streams, creeks on or near your property for changing conditions.' 

It is unknown if the road has reopened, although it was expected to around noontime.
