Samantha is one of the top South indian actress. She has had a career spanning of over 20 years now and has provided some memorable movies through the years. 2021 hasn’t been good on her as she faced a divorce that ended her 4-year marriage 10-year relationship with naga Chaitanya. She was motivated to focus on her career and had signed a bunch of projects. 

One among the projects was as a replacement to Nayanthara in Shahrukh - atlee film. Reportedly, the role in the movie is of a police officer who is falling in love with the hero. Due to some unknown reasons, samantha has left the project and atlee has approached Nayanthara again who has happily given him the green signal. 

Interestingly, this is the second time samantha is leaving the same project. samantha was the first choice option for atlee for the movie who was then replaced by Nayanthara due to unknown reason. Now again, Nayanthara has replaced samantha for the second time.

Sanya Malhotra is also present in the movie donning an important role. Anirudh is said to be roped in for music. With aryan Khan back home, the shooting of the movie is expected to start very soon.
