Ajinkya Rahane to lead India in first Test vs New Zealand, Virat Kohli to return for second match

The All-India Senior Selection Committee on Friday picked the squad for the upcoming two-match Test series against New Zealand. Ajinkya Rahane has been named captain for the first Test in the absence of Virat Kohli who will join the squad for the second Test and will lead the team.

Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami have been rested for the Test series.
