Scotland sealed a World Cup play-off spot and second place in Group F with a triumphant victory over Moldova on Friday.
The Scots thought they had snatched an early lead through Che Adams but it was chalked off for offside.
Steve Clarke's side eventually did open the scoring when a fantastic build-up play saw John McGinn holding the ball in on the right of the box. The Aston Villa man offloaded it to Nathan Patterson who drilled the ball into the net with a left-footed finish on 38 minutes.
In a sublime second-half move from Scotland, McGinn nutmegged his man with a backheel pass to Patterson, who put a low cross through the box to Adams. The Southampton striker had missed a few chances earlier in the game but this time he found the target.
A handball on 80 minutes almost cost Scotland as referee Srdjan Jovanovic awarded Moldova a penalty for handball. But heroics from Craig Gordon and Kieran Tierney saved the Scots' blushes. First, the keeper saved the spot-kick before Tierney scrambled to clear the rebound.
