Four golden bangles, a broken gold chain, a pair of silver anklets and toe rings, two silver bangles, a silver bracelet and a wristwatch were seized from the accused.
GREATER NOIDA: A man accused of targeting pedestrians across Delhi-NCR and snatching their jewellery on a KTM bike has been arrested. The accused, police said, is facing charges in more than 30 cases of loot and theft and was nabbed from near Hindon Pushta on Wednesday by a team of the Bisrakh police station. Four golden bangles, a broken gold chain, a pair of silver anklets and toe rings, two silver bangles, a silver bracelet and a wristwatch were seized from the accused. Police also recovered a country-made pistol and Rs 24,600 on the man. They have also seized a stolen KTM bike. Bisrakh station house officer Anita Chauhan said the accused was a native of Uttaranchal Vihar society of Ghaziabad’s Loni and was facing charges in several cases lodged in Noida and Greater Noida and was on the radar for the past several months. The KTM bike recovered from the accused was stolen from Delhi, she added.
