AgenciesGerman automotive and industrial equipment supplier, Schaeffler on Friday inaugurated a Large Size Bearing (LSB) Refurbishment Center in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, in partnership with Premier Bearings India Ltd.

The company did not disclose the total investment on this project.
“This is strategically located in the Eastern part of the country, this facility is in partnership with Premier Bearings India Ltd., a leading authorized distribution partner for Schaeffler India,” the company said in a media statement on Friday.
With this new centre, the company will offer its service to customers to repair bearings used in continuous operating process industries such as mining, metal & minerals, pulp & paper, railways, power sector and many more.
“These bearings play a critical role in these industries by keeping high-value machinery operating continuously and efficiently. Hence, their condition has a significant influence on the overall availability of machinery and plant profitability,” the company said in the statement.
