Hyderabad: Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels has signed a term sheet with Laxmi Nivasam developers to set up a Four Star Zone Connect Hotel in Yadagirigutta, Telangana. The 400-luxury Suite Hotel will be operated by the Park Hotels.
Rajendra Prasad, chairperson, Laxmi Nivasam developers, told Telangana Today: “We will launch 140 keys (rooms) as part of the first phase of the project by March 2022. The property will come on a site that is 2.4 km further. of the temple, which will emerge as one of the top temples of the world that attracts people worldwide. In the future, we may investigate together in the future to set up similar hotels in other pilgrimages such as Ayodhya and Madurai. ”
Laxmi Nivasam Developers, which was involved in villa and development projects in Yadagirigutta, will build this flagship hotel while the Park Hotels will operate the hotel. Talks are also underway to investigate the launch of heli-taxis at the temple village, which is expected to see one lakh people visit the temple for darshan every day.
Speaking about the ecosystem in the state, Prasad added: “Telangana government attaches great importance to spirituality and the state will be known for its TS-S pass (spiritual pass) after March 28, 2022, as it is known. For its TS-iPASS: The head of state will be known to the world in the coming days as “13th Alwar” for sure. In this generation Z, no one has contributed as much to Vaishanava tattva as our CM has contributed. “
Vikas Ahluwalia, National Head, Zone at The Park, said: “There is a lot of emphasis on religious circles across India. We were looking for opportunities in Telangana and other states to cater to the needs of the market. Because we have been in the hotel sector since 1967, we will bring our expertise to the project by improving efficiency and reducing operating costs. Infrastructure creation will definitely increase the footfall in destinations. ”
Under the Zone Connect brand of hotels launched last year, the hotel at Yadagirigutta will be the seventh property pan-India.
