JAIPUR: Bharatpur police have started looking for sodomy videos recorded by the accused 52-year-old suspended judge, Jitendra Singh Guliya, on his old mobile phone to blackmail the 14-year-old boy, who was allegedly sodomised for a month.
Bharatpur police on Thursday said based on the statements of the victim, they were looking for the accused's old mobile phone which he got exchanged at a Noida (Uttar Pradesh) store.
Police said if any video surfaces, it will be a piece of major incriminating evidence against the accused.
Senior officials at the Bharatpur police station and the investigating officer are preparing for the chargesheet.
"The victim's family, in the FIR, mentioned that the accused had recorded a video of the act and continuously threatened the boy to go public. Initially the boy was drugged, but later the accused started blackmailing him on the pretext of going public," said Devendra Bishnoi, Superintendent of police, Bharatpur.
"We have found that the accused had exchanged his older mobile phone in Noida (Uttar Pradesh). So, one of our team members is on the job to recover that mobile phone to see if the video can be retrieved," he added.
In the court appearance, the accused had complained that he had not been given a pillow and was unable to stand up and walk. "He was hospitalised and later sent to jail," said an official.
