Ofcom changes rules on universal broadband service quotes from BT

UK regulator Ofcom has amended the rules on how BT should provide quotes to customers wanting to be connected through the universal broadband service. Under the current scheme, BT will cover the cost of connecting properties up to a value of GBP 4,300, with customers given the option of paying the excess.
